Anne Sado, President of George Brown College, is a strong advocate of experiential learning and will be talking about the transformation of the post-secondary education system. She will explore the changes shaping the system, how Ontario colleges have evolved in 50 years and what the future holds.
The 2013 Order of Canada recipient holds an MBA from the University of Toronto as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering. She was also awarded a Doctor of laws, honoris causa, from the University of Toronto in June 2011. In 2014, she was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 25 Women of Influence and was inducted into the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) Hall of Fame 2014. Last year, Sado, CM, MBA, LLD, PEng, was appointed an Honorary Colonel of the Governor General’s Horse Guards.
